About InventoryKit
InventoryKit is a guided, self-service app that helps independent landlords in England create their own check-in inventory and schedule of condition, keep control of their evidence, and finish with a professionally formatted PDF report.
What InventoryKit is for
A good inventory takes care and detail. InventoryKit gives a landlord who does the inspection themselves a clear structure: the rooms and items to cover, consistent condition and cleanliness ratings, and one place for photos, meter readings, keys and alarms.
It is focused on property condition records at three stages: Check-In, Midterm and Check-Out. It is not a property management suite.
How InventoryKit behaves
You stay in control
You do the inspection, write the notes and choose the photos. InventoryKit organises and checks; it doesn't decide what you saw.
It records, it doesn't assume
InventoryKit does not infer that anything was tested, compliant or agreed. A missing tenant response is recorded as “No response”, not as agreement.
Nothing is sent for you
InventoryKit does not email your tenant or collect tenant signatures. You download the PDF and share it yourself.
Not legal advice
A completed report is not legal certification, and InventoryKit does not guarantee that a report meets any legal requirement.
