Terms of service
The terms on which InventoryKit provides its service to you.
Last updated 25 October 2026
1. Who we are
These terms are between you and InventoryKit (InventoryKit), contactable at hello@inventorykit.co.uk. By creating an account or using InventoryKit you agree to them.
2. What InventoryKit is
InventoryKit is an online tool that helps landlords record a property’s condition and produce Check-In, Midterm and Check-Out inventory reports as PDF documents. You do the inspection and choose what to record. InventoryKit organises your entries and formats the report. It is a documentation tool only.
InventoryKit does not give legal advice, does not decide fair wear and tear, liability, cleaning charges or deposit deductions, does not contact your tenant, and does not collect tenant signatures. A completed report is not legal certification, and we do not promise that a report will satisfy any legal requirement, deposit scheme or court.
3. Your account
You must give accurate details and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it.
4. Your content
You own the content you enter and the photographs you upload. You give us permission to store and process them to provide the service. You confirm you are entitled to upload them and that recording any personal data about other people in your reports is lawful. Do not upload unlawful content. You are responsible for the accuracy of your reports.
5. Price and payment
Creating, editing and previewing reports is free. Each completed report costs £55 to unlock its final PDF. No VAT is charged. The price is the same for Check-In, Midterm and Check-Out reports and is shown before you pay. Payment is taken through Wix checkout. One purchase covers legitimate later corrections to the same report but not other reports.
6. Cancellation and refunds
See our cancellations and refunds page, which forms part of these terms.
7. Using the service
Do not misuse InventoryKit: do not try to access other users’ data, interfere with the service, or use it to harass or deceive anyone. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep InventoryKit available but cannot promise uninterrupted service. We may improve or change features. We will not remove access to a PDF you have already paid for without good reason, and we will give notice where we can.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and it does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for loss of profit or business, or for the outcome of any dispute in which you use a report. Our total liability for any claim relating to a report is limited to the price you paid for it.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date above shows the current version. If a change is significant we will tell you before it applies to you.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although if you live elsewhere in the UK you may also bring a claim in your local courts.
