Check-Out inventory

Create a Check-Out inventory and schedule of condition

Record the property's condition at the end of a tenancy and compare it, item by item, with your issued Check-In. The Check-In stays exactly as it was issued, and you decide how each item compares.

Creating, editing and previewing are free. You pay £55 only to download the final PDF.

When you would use it

You choose which issued Check-In to compare against. InventoryKit copies its rooms and items, and shows each Check-In observation beside the space where you record what you see now. If you have no Check-In, you can still record the current condition; the report then says plainly that no baseline was selected and makes no comparison.

What the report contains

A professionally formatted PDF made from your own entries.

  • A Check-In comparison summary, then every item with the Check-In observation beside your current one.

  • For each item, the changes you choose: unchanged, changed, cleaning required, damage noted, missing, added, replaced, repair or replacement suggested, or fair wear and tear as your own assessment.

  • Photographs of the current condition. The Check-In photographs stay in the Check-In, where they are referenced.

  • Meters, keys and alarms, and your own confirmation of the report.

How it works

What InventoryKit does not decide

The report presents your observations and the Check-In beside each other. It does not decide fair wear and tear, who is responsible, cleaning charges or deposit deductions. Those judgements, and any discussion with your tenant or deposit scheme, remain yours.

InventoryKit is not legal advice, and a completed report is not legal certification. It does not contact your tenant, collect tenant signatures or treat silence as agreement.

What it costs

£55 per completed report. No VAT is charged. No subscription. You pay once per report to unlock the final PDF; you can then download, print or share it yourself. Read the pricing details.
